The Judge (Mait Malmsten) is a man who represents strict rules and laws in the courtroom. However, his own personal life is an absolute mess. After the judge makes a decision to give a long prison sentence to a woman, the woman’s brother (Märt Avandi) starts following the judge to change his mind about the verdict. The judge stays adamant. The verdict is final. A conflict takes place between the men, resulting in the judge suddenly becoming a criminal himself.

Sellesse mahub naeru, nuttu, napsu, romantikat ja kõike muud, mis käib kaasas ühe 21-aastase tuulepeaga, kel kombeks esmalt tegutseda ja alles seejärel mõelda. In 1952 a young fencing champion Endel arrives in a small town Haapsalu to work as a physical training teacher. For an introvert man it is hard to get contact with the children who have been through a lot. In spite of the opposition of the principal of the school, Endel manages to get a permit to teach fencing for children. Slowly it becomes a therapy for the children as well as the teacher himself – a way to deal with everyday grim. The defeated principal is holding a grudge and starts to investigate, why did the champion of the Soviet Union really come to a small town.
Last fall the third-year film students received a task to search for the spirit of an era that dates back at least 100 years. It was searched from Narva and Vilsandi, bogs and swamps, manors and farms. One can meet prophets and madmen, stubborn students, tortured men and longing women, werewolves, spiders and a pony along the way. The leading and supporting characters were brought to life by Juhan Ulfsak, Maria Advjuško, Märt Avandi, Helena Merzin, Mikk Jürjens, Meelis Rämmeld, Kersti Heinloo and many others.
