"Gandhi" (1982) - one of the greatest historical movies of our time is the cinema classic in April. The screenings will take place on Wednesdays in April. NB! The film will be screened in english with without subtitles.

An epic biography of a political and cultural titan, tracing Gandhi's rise to power from its beginnings when, as an educated attorney, he is imprisoned for disobeying an apartheid law in South Africa. The activist would ultimately command influence over thousands of Indians who followed his example of non-violent civil disobedience. Gandhi's role in elevating the people of India profoundly influenced Britain's decision to leave the country, and his humanitarian efforts resonated around the world.

"Gandhi" world premiere was on November 30, 1982.

All of the films that are being shown as part of the CINEMA CLASSIC series have been digitally restored. They will be screened at a minimum of 2K resolution and with high-quality 5.1 sound.
