The Tenor introduces himself as part of the audience in the great theatre of the streets of Italy, a fanatic of the good Italian food, expresso & the joy of italian people. His love for the country, people and music, is the reason why he decides to pay tribute to some of the songs that better reflect the Italy that inspires him the most.
Jonas Introduces the lm with Volare (Domenico Modugno) playfull and fun in Jonas great voice. Mattinata (Ruggero
Leoncavallo) sounds powerfull. Caruso (Lucio Dalla) is so expressive it sounds heatbreaking thanks with the orchestra. Ti voglio tanto bene (Ernesto de Curtis) exalts love and takes us to the romantic landscapes of sunny Italy.
One of the most well known songs is Parla più piano (Nino Rota), from The Godfather soundtrack, an epic crescendo in the voice of the Tenor. Torna a Surriento (Ernesto de Curtis) resonates with passion and warmth.
Il Canto (Romano Musumarra), Rondine al nido (Vincenzo de Crescenzo); Fenesta ca lucive (Guillaume Louis Cottrau); Musica proibita (Stanislao Gastaldon); Catari’, Catari’ (core ‘ngrato) (Salvatore Cardillo) y Voglio vivere così (Giovanni d’anza) complete the concert.
Some of the most famous arias from the concert in La Scala de Milán, “A night with Puccini” have been included. The audience will be able to relive the best moments from one of the Tenor’s best nights together with Filarmónica de La Scala and conductor Jochen Rieder and great arias as Nessun dorma (Turandot) or Lucevan le stelle (Tosca).
