Teenage Inna lives with her father and brother in a small provincial town. Her quiet life changes when a new girl, Masha, comes to the school. Very soon the girls become friends. However, Masha falls victim to a serial killer who murders teenage girls. At her friend’s funeral Inna meets the priest’s son whose sister has also been murdered.
A drama about people whose faith, hope, and love are put to the toughest test. A film about being able to choose when no choice is possible, about the courage to accept events, about the strength to withstand circumstances that destroy the world around you, your character, and your life.
The film reminds us that timeless values remain alive in people despite the passing of centuries, regardless of where and when a person lives.
