In August the biggest music festival in the Baltics –Weekend Festival Baltic took place for the second time in Pärnu. The Weekend-themed documentary will open a door the magical world of electronic dance music through the artist performing at Weekend Festival. During the three days the best of the best took the stage: Tiësto, Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Afrojack, Dmitri Vegas & Like Mike, Don Diablo, Netsky, Showtek, Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Sam Feldt, Otto Knows, Alan Walker, Brennan Heart, Wildstylez, ATB, Rudimental, Headhunterz ect.

Why do artist like to perform at Weekend? Why do they want to come back here? What do they think of the Estonian audience? What makes this one of the greatest festivals in Europe? What is the charm in electronic dance music festivals around the world? They will also talk about the common misconceptions of the DJ profession: music – yes, most of the DJ-s nowadays write their own music, and how to stay on top in todays competitive world. The documentary will look a little deeper into Tiësto, who’s now an electronic dance music legend and thanks to whose support many of his younger competition have gained a successful career, including the worlds number one DJ Martin Garrix.



The film will bring to the audience the beauty and glory of Weekend festival. It will also be a great retrospect to those, who were in Pärnu and enjoyed the festival. And maybe, after having a glimpse of that world, it’ll trigger a desire to visit the festival in those, who haven’t yet done so.
