In Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) and his friends Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) return for their third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where the teenagers are forced to face their darkest fears as they confront a dangerous escaped prisoner Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) and the equally foreboding Dementors, who are sent there to protect them.

The film stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint Emma Watson, Robbie Coltrane, Alan Rickman, John Cleese, Jason Isaacs. Deceased Richard Harris has been replaced by Michael Gambon in the role of professor Dumbledore. Other newcomers include Gary Oldman, Emma Thompson and Timothy Spall. The film was directed by Alfonso Cuaron (Y tu mama tambien).
